I started out by working for a lodge, back in 1976.  I've worked every position available from maid to chief cook and bottle washer.  Since Ron and I built Alaska Rainbow Lodge in 1982, I've found it extremely satisfying to see guests enjoy the luxuries we provide.  It's always a challenge, and never boring!  My inside staff are more than just employees.  They make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in the door. 

Everything we do shows that we are a team who is dedicated to one thing - that you have an unforgettable fishing adventure!

 

Your Host Ron Hayes:

I have been in the guiding and lodging business in Alaska for over 50 years, 28 years at Alaska Rainbow Lodge.  I have flown every square mile of the Bristol Bay watershed and know every fishable stream from the Kuskokwim to the Alaska Peninsula.

I run a well-organized team of 8 experienced river guides, and 3 commercial instrument-rated float plane bush pilots. 
I'll listen to you.  Tell me where and what you want to fish for - I'll try my best to make it happen.
