The Kvichak River, where the largest Rainbow Trout in Alaska live

Our home water is the world famous Kvichak (Kwee-jack) River. The Kvichak offers unsurpassed Rainbow Trout, Arctic Grayling, Northern Pike and Salmon fishing. In fact, the worlds largest Rainbow Trout, some up to 18 pounds, come from this awesome resource. The Kvichak’s Sockeye Salmon run numbers into the millions. The Sockeyes annual migration takes them right by the lodge, providing great angling opportunities and an impressive display of natures bounty.

The Kvichak remains one of Alaskas most productive and popular rivers. On occasion, poor weather conditions prohibits safe flying. When that happens, excellent fishing for Trophy Trout and hard fighting Salmon can be easily accessed by boat, just minutes from our dock.
