Alaska Rainbow Lodge is a 4600 sq. ft. cedar frame lodge featuring a large living room, kitchen, lounge and dining room, as well as 5 double-occupancy bedrooms with private bath.  Our guests may also enjoy private bedrooms in one of our 3 duplex cabins.

 

Our Lodge is the most modern in Alaska.  Each plush, carpeted, soundproofed bedroom has a large private bath.  Each has a queen and a twin size extra long bed.  The lodge has thermostatically controlled forced-air heat and 24-hour electricity.

Our dining room has ample seating for 20 guests.  Overlooking the river, our lounge has a personal atmosphere and a lot of room for socializing.  We invite you to include our complimentary bar.

Our capacity is 16 guests.  We are never overcrowded and we never have masses of guests all competing for the same fishing hole.  There is a complete fly-tying bench with all the materials available.  We have a large selection of videos and reading material as well as telephone service and WiFi.

 

Alaska Rainbow Lodge is located in the heart of Bristol Bay Alaska, on the Kvichak River, 230 air miles southwest of Anchorage, Alaska. This strategic location enables easy access to the entire Bristol Bay Watershed and makes a perfect headquarters for your Alaska fishing vacation.

Most lodges in this area have a program that is structured so that you must fly-out every day, because there is limited fishing where their lodge is located.  It is very important to choose a lodge that is able to provide trophy fishing opportunities every day of the season.  By locating the lodge on a trophy river such as the Kvichak, we have assured our guests that they will have the opportunity to fish every day during their stay at the lodge.

The available fishing areas include the State designated Trophy Rainbow Trout Fishing Area surrounding Iliamna Lake, the prolific waters of Katmai National Park, the scenic Wood - Tikchik State Park Area, the remote Becharof National Wildlife Refuge, and the untouched Alaskan Peninsula.

Our Bristol Bay Lodge provides easy access to these areas which provide a great variety of species and a wealth of productive angling opportunities, wildlife viewing and magnificent scenery.
